Three members of the Zomi Revolutionary Army–Eastern Command (ZRA-EC) were reportedly killed in an ambush by PDF-Zoland between Saimual and Dimlo villages along the Kalay–Tedim road, according to ZRA-EC representatives.
The fallen soldiers were identified as:
* Thang Muan Lian @ Sir. KV (Buanli)
* Monjep (Lamzang)
* Tg. Pau Min Thang (Lezang)
ZRA-EC representatives said the soldiers were traveling on duty through Zogam at approximately 8:00 p.m. when they were attacked with landmines, small arms, and heavier weapons. All three reportedly lost their lives at the scene while serving Zogam and the Zomi people.
Zomi.News extends its deepest condolences to their families, relatives, comrades, and communities during this time of profound grief. We stand in solidarity with the Zomi Army and honor the courage, commitment, and sacrifice of these three sons of Zogam.
Their deaths are not merely military casualties; they represent the painful cost of division and armed conflict within the Zomi homeland. Every fallen life leaves behind grieving parents, spouses, children, friends, and a community carrying the weight of that loss.
As Zomi patriots, we mourn them with sorrow, yet we also remember them with pride. Their willingness to serve Zogam and the Zomi people will remain part of our collective memory.
Whatever political or organizational differences may exist, the shedding of Zomi blood should compel every leader and armed organization to seek restraint, responsibility, and the protection of Zomi lives.
The future of Zogam must be built through unity, justice, responsible leadership, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to the dignity and security of the Zomi people.
No martyr dies in vain. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
